Chris Hanrahan  

Chris has a background in endurance sport spanning over a decade and regularly competes in endurance events and has been a professional full time coach since 2002 in which time he has placed athletes on state and national teams in triathlon.

  

Chris combines his practical coaching experience and gymnasium management knowledge with the HERT's extensive coaching support, resources and methodologies. Training smarter is the key to his coaching philosophy, believing that getting fit is just the start towards success. Chris effectively applies his unique coaching style to a broad range of athletic talent from competitive athlete to casual beginners getting started at a masters level.

  

Chris's interests include strength and conditioning, run biomechanics and motivational strategies and goal setting which have helped athletes step up for challenges that have stretched their boundaries.
